Join Sam Riley, the man in gray, as the FBI man tries to figure out who killed him over seventy years ago. His search is interrupted by a murder and a second investigation that pulls in a private detective, Chase Bowden. Formerly of the CIA, Bowden has been hired by a wealthy man in New York to bring back a painting that he inherited. Other people want that painting too, and when Bowden arrives in Issaquah, Washington, he finds a dead man, a ghost, a large group of relatives, and no painting. This is an intense thriller with humorous scenes.
